Privacy Policy for Focusmania

Effective date: September 21, 2026

Focusmania is a local focus timer for Android. It does not require an account, contain advertising, use analytics, or sync focus information to the cloud.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Deverydapp handles information in the Focusmania Android application.

2. Information stored on the device

Focusmania stores focus-session state, selected durations, focus totals, completed-session counts, achievement progress, appearance choices, focus sounds, volume, vibration, mentor, and other app settings on the device.

The app does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, microphone access, or the content of other apps. Focus sounds are bundled with the app and play locally.

3. Permissions

Notifications

Notification access supports the ongoing focus-session update and completion notification.

Do Not Disturb

If enabled, Android Do Not Disturb access can silence calls and notifications during focus and pauses. The previous setting is restored when the session ends.

Timer and audio

Foreground-service, audio, vibration, and restart permissions support the timer, local sounds, vibration, and session recovery.

4. How information is used

  • Run one user-started focus session at a time.
  • Pause up to three times with a shared ten-minute allowance.
  • Track completed sessions, focused time, and achievements on the device.
  • Offer optional mentor guidance and five appearance themes.

5. Sharing and third parties

Focusmania does not sell or share personal information. The app contains no advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, or third-party tracking SDKs.

Focusmania does not transmit focus history, achievement progress, settings, or the content of other apps. Android and Google Play may separately process installation, updates, backups, security, or diagnostic information under their own settings and privacy practices.

6. Storage and deletion

Local information is removed when you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Android backup behavior depends on your device and account settings.

7. Children’s privacy

Focusmania is a general-audience productivity utility and is not directed specifically to children. It does not provide public posting, messaging, social profiles, or behavioral advertising.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. Questions may be sent to contact@deverydapp.com.
