Privacy Policy for Taleabye

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Deverydapp (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the Taleabye Android application. It applies to the app and not to unrelated websites, apps, or services you may choose to open from it.

2. Information stored on the device and accessed online

Taleabye stores non-personal reading choices locally, including favorites, read-story status, font choice, text size, and appearance preferences. It also keeps a local copy of the most recently loaded story catalog. These items remain on the device unless Android includes them in a backup controlled through the user’s Android or Google settings.

The app uses an internet connection to load the story catalog, story text, thumbnails, illustrations, and recorded narration. The bedtime lullaby plays locally. Favorites, read-story status, font choices, text size, and appearance preferences are not uploaded.

Taleabye does not ask for a name, email address, account, precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, advertising identifier, or payment information.

• Load and refresh the published story catalog, story text, thumbnails, illustrations, and recorded narration.
• Remember favorites and which stories have been read.
• Apply the reader's chosen font, text size, and appearance on that device.
• Play recorded narration from the server and the bundled bedtime lullaby from the device.

Information is used only to provide the app functions described above and is not used by Deverydapp to build advertising profiles.

5. Sharing and third parties

Taleabye does not sell personal information or share reading activity for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Standard technical information needed to load and protect online content may be processed when the app connects to the internet.

Favorites, read-story status, font choices, text size, and appearance preferences remain on the device. Google Play and Android may separately process app download, update, backup, security, and diagnostic information under Google’s own privacy practices and the user’s device settings.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

App information stored locally remains on the device until you delete it in the app, clear the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Deverydapp cannot remotely view or delete information that exists only on your device.

Depending on your Android backup settings, Android may include app data in a device backup associated with your platform account. Deverydapp cannot access or control that backup; you can manage it through your Android or Google account settings.

Third-party services described above may retain request information under their own policies. Deverydapp does not maintain a server-side copy of that information.

7. Security

The app relies on Android’s application sandbox, permission controls, and local storage protections. Optional transfers use the device’s network and Android’s standard app-to-app mechanisms. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit access and transmission to what is needed for the selected feature.

8. Children’s privacy

Taleabye is designed for children and families. It does not ask a child to create an account, enable chat, public posting, or social profiles, or use behavioral advertising. Network requests are limited to delivering the story experience and ordinary service reliability and security.

If a parent or guardian believes information has somehow been provided to Deverydapp in connection with Taleabye, they may contact us. We will investigate and delete any such information where applicable.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated in the app or store listing when appropriate.
