Privacy Policy for Before It Slips

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Deverydapp (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the Before It Slips Android application. It applies to the app and not to unrelated websites, apps, or services you may choose to open from it.

2. Information the app accesses

The app stores information you choose to enter, including reminder titles, notes, categories, event dates and times, notification and alarm times, repeat schedules, Upcoming, Overdue, or Completed status, completion history, addresses, birthday and gift details, medication names, individual dose times and dosage instructions, return or cancellation deadlines, and other category-specific details. Appearance settings are also stored locally. This information remains in the app's on-device storage and is not sent to Deverydapp.

Notification and Alarm mode settings—including whether either or both are enabled—are stored with the reminder so the app can schedule the alert you selected. Snoozing an alarm creates a new local alarm for 10 minutes later. Dismissing or completing a reminder updates its local status and scheduled alerts.

The app does not access contacts, call logs, messages, photos, camera, microphone, precise device location, advertising identifiers, or payment information. Network access is used only when you request address suggestions or open a destination through an external navigation service.

• Create, schedule, repeat, display, complete, reschedule, and organize reminders across the app's tailored categories and List, Week, and Month views.
• Deliver a standard notification, a full-screen Alarm mode alert, or both, according to the options you enable for each reminder.
• Snooze an active alarm for 10 minutes, dismiss it, and prevent completed, deleted, or replaced reminder occurrences from generating an outdated alert.
• Restore active scheduled notifications and alarms after a device restart and reschedule them when you change an event or alert time.
• Return address suggestions and open navigation only when you use those features.
• Maintain local reminder status, completion history, and appearance preferences.

Information is used only to provide the app functions described above and is not used by Deverydapp to build advertising profiles.

5. Sharing and third parties

Deverydapp does not sell personal information or share reminder content for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not send reminder titles, notes, schedules, medication details, completion history, or Alarm mode activity to Deverydapp.

An OpenStreetMap-based address-search provider receives the search text you submit and technical connection information needed to return suggestions. If you open navigation, the saved destination is passed to Google Maps or the browser you select. These third parties process information under their own privacy practices.

Android system services process notification, alarm, vibration, restart, and full-screen intent functions on your device. These system interactions are used to operate the reminder you configured and do not create a Deverydapp user account or developer-controlled cloud record.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

App information stored locally remains on the device until you delete it in the app, clear the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Deverydapp cannot remotely view or delete information that exists only on your device.

Depending on your Android backup settings, Android may include app data in a device backup associated with your platform account. Deverydapp cannot access or control that backup; you can manage it through your Android or Google account settings.

Third-party services described above may retain request information under their own policies. Deverydapp does not maintain a server-side copy of that information.

7. Security

The app relies on Android’s application sandbox, permission controls, and local storage protections. Optional transfers use the device’s network and Android’s standard app-to-app mechanisms. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit access and transmission to what is needed for the selected feature.

8. Children’s privacy

Before It Slips is a general-audience productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or account creation.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated in the app or store listing when appropriate.
